BSES plans to add a new class each year so that our school grows with our students. The majority of new admissions will be for the pre-primary classes. With growth comes the need for more space, so we also plan to purchase a building in the Pimpri area to accomodate up to 300 pre-primary and primary school students.
In the future, we plan to open a middle school (6th-8th standard) and high school (9th-10th standard) so that our students are eligible for vocational training and college.
The expansion plan will allow BSES to provide students with the following:
• School bus
• Day Care and After-School program
• Computer classroom
• Library
• Science lab
• Lunch room
• Auditorium
• Outdoor playground and sports field
• Gymnasium
• Community center in students’ slum areas
• Vocational training
• High school (8th – 10th standard)
The aim is for BSES is to be completely managed and operated by a trained Indian staff by 2020. At that point, foreign staff will transition into a consulting role for the school.
